Effective 23 October 2026
The short version: your voice is analysed on your iPhone and never leaves it. The app has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and it collects no personal information.
Paatu Vaathiyar uses the microphone only while you practise, to work out the pitch you are singing and to compare it with the notes of the lesson. This analysis happens in real time on your device. No audio is recorded, saved or sent anywhere.
To remember where you are, the app stores on your iPhone: your settings (your Sa, language, tempo and similar choices), your lesson progress, and, for the latest take of each lesson, the pitch readings and note scores shown in its report. This is never uploaded and is removed when you delete the app.
Nothing. We run no servers for this app, and it contains no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking software.
Some "read more" links open external websites inside the app. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.
If you installed the app through TestFlight, or you share analytics with app developers in iOS Settings, Apple may give the developer anonymous, aggregated crash and usage data. It cannot be used to identify you.
The app is suitable for all ages. It collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the new version will be published here with a new date. Questions or requests: message @PaatuVaathiyar on Instagram or on X.
